Rina Sawayama has returned seven months after the release of her album Sawayama with a brand new single. 'Lucid' is a dance-pop spectacular that's hooked Pixels all around the world. The release announces that Sawayama Deluxe is incoming.

Rina knows her audience: the new track is a strobe-lit bop that will in turn light up gay clubs as soon as they're back open. "is #RinaLUCID about masturbating ????????? maybe !!!!!!!!!!" she wrote on Twitter.

With the beat offered by Blood Pop, it was written in 2018 with Lauren Aquilina. “It’s about living a different life through dreaming, whether it's to be with the dream girl or to be the dream girl. i’ve kept this song secret for 2 years so I’m so excited to finally release it to the world."

The song will make up part of Sawayama Deluxe.
