It's a year since the seminal jazz album's release
A year on from the release of his seminal jazz record Dark Matter, and London musician Moses Boyd has shared a new version of track '2 Far Gone'. A new vocal mix, it features bass icon Katy B on newly-added vocals.

A slick enmeshing of bassy percussion and Boyd's magic instrumentals, the song peals out in a five minute ribbon of aural bliss. Katy B is an inspired choice to feature on the track, her voice made extra sweet by the fact of her icon status.
Dark Matter was nominated, in 2020, for a Mercury Prize, an AIM Award and a MOBO. "So glad that we could make this collaboration happen. "Much love to the legend Katy B for featuring on this version" he said.
Katy B said that it was an honour to work with Boyd, and added: "the instrumental has such an energy and drive but also a darkness and drama to it so wanted to explore that feeling of an internal battle, trying to find a way to let go.”
