More about:

Dylan Cartlidge has shared his new single 'Anything Could Happen'; another joyful slice of the Midlands artist's infectious personality. It follows recent comeback track 'Molasses' and signals that more music is on the way.

It's extraordinary that 'Anything Could Happen' is as joyful as it is: Cartlidge wrote it in lockdown three, following seven months of isolation from Covid-19. Yet here it is: a sunny piece of positivity pop influenced by hip-hop, funk and Gospel.

Lovely!

"I focussed on my mantra 'Hope Above Adversity' and I created the track to remind myself that with a bit of hope and courage, and if you put one foot in front of the other, anything really could happen!" Cartlidge said.

This is the first single from Cartlidge that was produced alongside Adele, Florence + The Machine collaborator Eg White.
