Beloved London nightclub Printworks has announced its re-opening weekend plans for 17-19 September. The event, called ‘Redacted’ will comprise of three stand-alone shows over the course of the weekend. But it’s not like other events – no artists will be announced in advance, and social media and camera phones are not allowed.

Organisers have described the event as “going back to basics, Redacted puts the focus firmly on the music for a pure celebration of club culture”. Each show will celebrate a different genre: Friday’s ‘Late Night Movement’ celebrating all things underground, Saturday’s ‘To The Floor’ focusing on dance music and Sunday’s ‘Low End Theories’ showcasing drum n bass.

Speaking on the long-awaited reopening, Matthew Johnson said: “The last 12 months have been incredibly challenging for our industry and for so many in the wider community. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for a very overdue return to dance floors”.

Presale tickets for Redacted will be available from midday on Thursday 18 March, and general sale begins at midday on Friday 19 March.
