"I want to look like a bisexual Dolly Parton." That's how Self Esteem, aka Rebecca Taylor introduces herself to the Gigwise team at the cover shoot for our twentieth anniversary magazine.

Taylor - popstar, exercise guru and highly relatable spokesperson for wanting more out of life - bounces into the studio in a pair of platform Crocs and with her hair teased to the gods, ready for her close-up. The resulting shoot is one of butterscotch hair, double denim and lashings of sideboob. 

In the adjoining cover interview, we talk with Rebecca about many a subject: her forthcoming album, being so miserable it makes you sick, aging into appreciating life, and "turning everything up to 11".

So yes: there it is. Self Esteem. The cover of our first ever print mag, shipping from 12 July and in record shops all over the UK and Ireland on Record Store Day (17 July).
