A representation of chaos through pure '90s nostalgia

More about:

Bull have returned with a video for brand new single 'Smoke'. True to the York natives’ unique style, the video blends simple and colourful illustrations with '90s-inspired footage of them and stop motion sequences.

'Smoke’s jumpy, guttural vocals contrast with harmonies that remain homogeneous, creating a chaotic juxtaposition. The dynamic track reflects the wryness of Bull’s songwriting, a leit motif in other songs from their latest release, Discover Effortless Living.

Discover Effortless Living, released by EMI Records in March, blends Northern indie rock with 90s grunge influences and dreamy 50s-inspired melodies. About their debut album we previously said it “represents a stream of consciousness derived from their laidback personality”.
