As shame get ready for their headline tour this month, they’ve just shared their first new single since acclaimed sophomore album Drunk Tank Pink, which arrived in January of this year. The track is accompanied by a self-directed music video featuring a pretty intense exercise bike workout.

A solid banger, ‘This Side Of The Sun’ is going to be a sure hit on stage this month. Its poetic lyrical style and music video that doesn’t take itself too seriously work together well to remind you that shame are a band you should be really excited about. The band said about the new song:

“The whole song came together on the day we recorded it at the studio. It’s also the first live recording we’ve ever done, we didn’t want it to sound overworked. It’s a pure banger, listen with a piña colada in your left hand.”
