Ezra Collective continue to prove their grime chops on their bounceback single 'More Than A Hustler', a grime-jazz crossover starring MC Novelist as the piece's vocalist.

The song is the collective's first release since November 2020, though as individuals, they've been very busy. Drummer Femi Koleoso is part of Gorillaz, keyboardist Joe Armon-Jones an element of Mick Jenkin’s new album, saxophonist James Mollison has been performing in Nala Sinephro’s band, and trumpeter Ife Ogunjobi has been playing stadiums with Burna Boy.  

"The marriage of grime and jazz started for us when we’d play covers of JME instrumentals," Femi said. “That journey continued with Quest For Coin II, and this latest instalment features an MC who, like us, has a deep love for pushing the boundaries of music."
