More about:

Liverpool indie outfit and Gigwise Ones to Watch STONE have only gone and written a banger. 'Stupid' is their first new music of the year and it drops with a paint-splashing video reminiscent of Jackson Pollock/The Stone Roses.

Speaking exclusively to Gigwise, the band explained the idea behind the video for 'Stupid'.

"We wanted the video to capture the live energy of the track. That’s how it is meant to be experienced — live raw energy. We managed to find a space that was fine with us wrecking it. Then our video dude Dave brought along Ben from Polyphonica and a top drawer DOP in Luca Ruskin to film it. The initial idea of performing on white set was Fin's Idea, but then Dave had a stroke of genius with the red paint. It was a fun shoot — but the novelty wore off eventually with the paint. It got real cold and we where all ill for a week or so after. Worth it though! The paint washed off skin easily but clothes not so much. Might see us out on stage in some of it ya never know!"
