To trail the May release of Georgia Gothic, Mattiel have shared a track that certainly lives up to the album title. 'Blood in the Yolk' is an old folk-sounding song with sinister overtones.

It's, Mattiel Brown said, "one of my favorite songs Jonah and I have ever written together".

To coincide with this announcement, Mattiel have announced a UK and European tour, set to take place in May 2022.

‘Georgia Gothic’ is set to be released on 18 March next year, and in the words of Mattiel is a record formed by: “Some faraway place that just Jonah and I could go where there would be no distractions, nothing else going on, and we could turn everything off and only focus on writing songs. Everything happened backwards. Normally, you’d have friends that make a band ... with us, we started making music from the jump, and then became homies.”
