Wigan’s fastest rising stars, The Lathums make a glorious return this week with an emotionally-charged new single and accompanying lyric video for 'Sad Face Baby'. It marks the next chapter for the young rockers.

The spine-tingling ‘Sad Face Baby’ is the quartet’s first new release since their 2021 debut album How Beautiful Life Can Be, which went to number one. Expect a truly euphoric four-minute journey reflecting on a “mixed up, messed up, fucked up world” on this new one...

Frontman Alex Moore commented on the track, saying: "The Lathums has been a world of opportunity for us, but things still get to you. We have had to come to understand each other more and the ways the world works around us. Naivety and innocence have been lost and 'Sad Face Baby' is the sharper edge of what we can do as a band."

The Lathums will play several festivals this summer, and will support The Killers (!!) on several key European dates too.
