London’s WOOZE have just shared their new single ‘Bittersweet Timpani’, out now on Young Poet. It’s another beautifully bizarre indie-pop gem from the duo that combines the theatricality of glam rock with groovy indie-pop.

The band explained that the new single is about “walking home alone, dejected and rejected. We thought the pitiful, pity-party lyrics would juxtapose nicely with the muscular glam-rock bravado of the music”. ‘Bittersweet Timpani’ has a dark, heavy riff as its foundation, with high-drama vocals that turn this song into an anthem.
