Ellie Bleach, who has long been one of our favourite underground singer-songwriters, has announced her debut EP on her new label Sad Club Records. Single 'Big Strong Man' is an exciting new taste of what will be No Elegant Way To Sell Out.

Like her already-released singles (we implore you to go back and spin 'Jackie O'), 'Big Strong Man' is powerfully sarcastic, striding through a smorgasbord of put downs via wistful baroque pop, sultry guitar and Ellie's ever-present keyboard.

Ellie Bleach said of the new song: "'Big Strong Man' is my most sincere song of my releases.  It’s about the divine relief of admitting defeat. On the surface level it’s quite a bitter song, but I like to think there’s a kind of optimistic nihilism to it. It’s saying, ‘okay, whatever. I give up. You carry on being a tortured genius. See you around.’"

Previously-released single 'Doing Really Well Thanks' will also appear on the EP.

No Elegant Way To Sell Out Tracklist:

1. Tupperware Party
2. Precious Feelings
3. Doing Really Well Thanks
4. Something Wrong
5. Big Strong Man

No Elegant Way To Sell Out arrives 6 October via Sad Club Records.
