More about: Blondshell
“I’m going back to him / I know my therapist’s pissed…” - Once again, the Gen-Z sad girls are being read by their own mouth piece.
A new name stepping up to the mic, Blondshell is riding high after a tiktok unexpectedly blew up a live performance of ‘Kiss City’. Now returning with a new offering, ‘Sepsis’ silences social media sceptics quick to shut down any name coming from the apps. Grungy yet sentimental, tough yet soft - we’ve been waiting for a voice like Blondshell.
Offering to bridge the gap between the Phoebe Bridgers crowd and big grunge hitters like old school Hole, Black Honey and the Paramore revival, ‘Sepsis’ is raw while still being anthemic. Primed to soundtrack sad solo walks in our headphones and also pack out venues - there’s a lot of golden mid-ground being dominated here.
Arriving in London on September 26 for her debut UK gig, you’ll see us front and centre screaming the lyrics.
