Canada's answer to Royal Blood have dropped a new single titled 'OK'. It's some of the first new music since the release of last year's debut album BUMMER, a project we called "a poetic and epic coming of age story, as well as a fresh, sincere and invigorating piece of rock".

Hefty riffs and pummelling percussion are once again the order of the day, though the vocals on 'OK' explore several facets of emotion before settling on a melancholy refrain at its looping outro.

On the song's themes, cleopatrick said: “It’s a song about complacency, ignorance, and trying to fit into a digital future."

“It’s about asteroids, evil computers, sneaker brands, and illusory-worth of our digital personas. It’s a song about all the shit you have to click “OK” on these days. You do it so much you reach the point where you don’t really think about the meaning or implications of digital consent.”

The duo play Reading this Friday, and Leeds on Saturday.

Issue Four of the Gigwise Print magazine is on pre-order now! Order here.
