More about:

Jelani Blackman (he of the sexiest voice in British music right now) has just landed with a new single titled 'Comfy' and it's a sensual dancehall-inspired bop releasing in time for Notting Hill Carnival with collaborators Moonchild Sanelly and Trillary Banks.

"I’ve been chillin with Moon for a minute and the vibe has been so good, this song came out of it," Jelani said. "It’s about feeling comfortable and when you do, how much your energy just radiates out and people catch it."

The track is the first new music Jelani has released since his debut mixtape Untitled last year.

In the second issue of Gigwise, the Back To The Future Issue, Jelani spoke to us about his journey in music. "My mum inspires me. I get my energy from her; the music is just a vehicle for that energy”.

“Mum suggested I play an instrument. So I picked up the saxophone at the age of nine. It was good to mix that with my love of grime."

Issue Four of the Gigwise Print magazine is on pre-order now! Order here.
