No full confirmation on which angle we're going to get from the Sheffield group quite yet, but by the sounds of last night's song debut, it's going to be a funkier update on the lounge music on Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
A press note promises: "Arctic Monkeys running wild in a new and sumptuous musical landscape and contains some of the richest and most rewarding vocal performances of Alex Turner’s career."
In an exclusive interview with The Big Issue, Alex Turner told Line of Duty star Martin Compston: “On this record, sci-fi is off the table. We are back to earth”.
"I think we’ve got closer to a better version of a more dynamic overall sound with this record."
