Sarah Kinsley might live in her art too much as she treats fans to a full version of her new song ‘The Giver’ after demands flooded in following a snippet released on her social media. The new single follows two jam-packed and dramatic EPs released earlier in the year, ‘The King’ and ‘Cyprus’.

The voice of the internet has never been louder and Sarah Kinsley definitely got a taste of that when she uploaded a short snippet of her new single on social media. Upon doing so, demands came in asking for the full song to be released. After seeing how much people wanted it, she set to work on getting everything finalised, the end result of which is truly beautiful.

The acoustic guitar that provides the backdrop for the single is hasty but yet still allows the listener to feel at ease as they take in her well-written and honest lyrics. Kinsley carries emotion in her voice like the best of them as we hear confusion and pain in every single line she delivers.

What is a very stripped back song transforms into a cinematic masterpiece towards the end of the track as warm synths bring it to a huge climax that we are folded into every single corner of. ‘The Giver’ invokes feelings of pain and release, acting as a true testament to Kinsley’s song writing and musical ability.

Sarah Kinsley’s ‘The Giver’ is streaming now and she will be playing two shows in London on the 15thand 16th November 2022.
