More about: Ezra CollectiveKojey Radical
Both making big moves, Ezra Collective and Kojey Radical are riding the success train up together. As the band prep for the release of their album Where I’m Meant To Be this Friday, and Kojey is still on a high following his Mercury Prize nomination - it’s no wonder their collab ‘No Confusion’ is so packed full of energy it could burst.

It’s got all their signatures; Ezra Collective’s rich horns and unexpected rhythms, Kojey’s ease of storytelling and focus on highlighting his culture. And this song is definitely celebrating that as they come together for a tribute to Tony Allen, an afrobeat pioneer and Ezra Collective’s long-time mentor through his lessons with Femi Koleoso. Dedicated to ‘Uncle Tony’, they’re showing everything he taught them and making him proud.
Talking about the track, Femi said: “Drum lessons with Uncle Tony didn’t just change my life, but Ezra Collective's. The most valuable thing he ever taught me was, always be yourself. Be who you are. Be proud of who you are. When you truly are who you’re meant to be, you have no confusion.”
Their album arrives November 4th.
