Festival season edges closer, overpriced beers are in sight and the bass from tents and stages afar gets louder and louder. The excitement is hard to contain, the idea of sun and drinks and friends and genuinely good music, and if you weren’t excited already then one quick look at the Electric Castle line up will change that.

It already looked amazing, with the likes of Chemical Brothers, Iggy Pop and Nova Twins making an appearance. Not to mention, the whole festival takes place in a castle in Transylvania. If you were interested in spending time this summer somewhere unique and exciting, Electric Castle already had you covered, and now even more so.

With a new album out, the award-winning rapper Macklemore is going to be bringing catchy hooks and humorous bars to the festival in July. Alongside him will be Peggy Gou, Nothing But Thieves, Yung Lean and more. The festival is incredibly multi-genre, never been afraid to appeal to fans that span different areas of music, and this year is a clear reflection of that.

When it comes to festival season, a lot of line-ups can start to be mirror images of one another, and lay outs can also be repetitive, so with a line-up like the diverse mix on show at Electric Castle, as well as the interesting setting and backdrop, this is truly one that you don’t want to miss out on.
