More about: Bumb
Calling all indieheads, this ones for you. Making easy breezy indie pop, bumb are back with new track ‘girlfriend x’.
Dropping just in time for the warmer weather drifting one, this is definitely one for summer playlists, getting us excited for drinks in the garden, days at the park and the sun still shining long after we clock off. Sitting at the poppier end of the indie scale, guitars are swapped out for catchy beats and off-the-cuff lyricism.
As their first release in a while, ‘girlfriend x’ is the start of a new era of releases from the band, working towards the release of their debut album this November.. Talking about the track, they said: “girlfriend x is at the start of the story to a budding relationship, being alone in your bedroom, unsure of your feelings - it touches on past relationship pains and the way they impact the next one. it’s calm indie synth-pop that sets the scene for the story to come.”
