Directly referencing his relationship with his famous father, Ian Dury, Baxter wades into deeper water with regards to the discourse, considering his perception on parenting since becoming one. Mixing childhood images with a catchy modern beat, pairing up with Madeline Hart and JGrrey; Baxter is taking leaps into the future with his story in tow.
Talking about the track, he said Leon is, “A more or less factual account of what happened when Leon - my horrible class mate - and I stole sunglasses from Boots on Kensington High Street in the mid ‘80s. The reaction of the police and lack of parenting now seem too shocking since becoming a parent myself.”
