One of our 23 for 2023 picks, NewDad just dropped their first track of the year.
Entering a new era of bigger, bolder sounds, higher production values and definitely larger stages - the Galway based band are opening up on ‘In My Head’. Tackling mental health on this euphoric indie banger, complete with angelic harmonies, grungy distortions and catchy guitar licks, ‘In My Head’ firmly places them as one of the most exciting names on the Irish scene right now.

Working towards their debut album as they buckle down to record, this track is our first taste of what their matured sound is looking like. Levelling up from their 2022 EP Banshee, this new track sounds like a band set for a meteoric rise.
