More about:

Introducing your new favourite band - FIZZ. A group project from the musical powers Dodie, Orla Gartland, Greta Isaac and Martin Luke Brown; the four friends have joined together for a seriously fun band.

If their debut single, ‘High In Brighton’ is anything to go off, we’re in for an eclectic ride. Diving right in and announcing their debut album The Secret To Life alongside their first ever single - the 15th September can't come quick enough.

Combining the choral arrangements we know and love from dodie, the indie-pop-folk influences that colour Orla and Martin’s work and the artsier influences that Greta references a lot; we’re getting the very best of each member on 'High In Brighton'. But don’t be mistaken, this isn’t your classic supergroup. There is no ‘Greta bit’ or ‘Orla bit’, the four members join together and become indistinguishable, leaving their own personal artist identities at the door for something very different.

With Queen-like dramatics and an almost musical theatre feel to the storytelling lyrics and unabashed high energy - the song of the summer might have just dropped.

Talking about the track, the band said: “Real life is boring. ‘High In Brighton’ is a psychedelic yearning to escape to a fantasised seaside town complete with a key change, honky tonk piano, high speed drums and even a clarinet solo."

To welcome you into their new world, the band just announced a spontaneous headline show at London's Hoxton Hall on June 21st - it’s sure to be a party.
