Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis has predicted this year's festival, which gets under way tomorrow, will be a “classic”.
Festivalgoers have already begun arriving at Worthy Farm in Somerset in preparation for the event, which will be headlined by Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young and Blur.
Eavis told the BBC she was confident it would be “a top year”, despite forecasters predicting thundery showers tonight and tomorrow.
“Neil Young, I think, will be amazing on Friday night because that's been a life-long dream of (Eavis' father) Michael's, and I think it's great having him here,” Eavis said.
There are already reports of heavy traffic around Glastonbury, as festivalgoers arrive early to take advantage of the good weather and find the perfect spot to pitch their tent.
More than 100 acts will perform at the festival over the next three days, including veterans Status Quo and Madness.
A surprise performance, only confirmed on Tuesday, will come from Klaxons, who will perform on The Park stage.
Stay tuned to Gigwise over the course of the next four days for all the latest Glastonbury news, set reviews, photos and interviews.
