Lily Allen has admitted that she has a bigger desire to have children than reignite her music career.

The singer, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Cooper, announced plans to take a break from music earlier this year.

In an interview with Stylist magazine, she said “in some ways” she would miss her career, but revealed that her “goal in life is to have kids”.

Asked if she would really never return to music, Allen replied: “I don't like questions about the future because I don't know where my head's going to be.

“I can't really say anything because I've never had a baby before and I don't know what I'm going to do.”

Meanwhile, Allen made a surprise appearance on stage alongside Professor Green in London last night (October 19).

The singer joined the rapper for a rendition of their hit, 'Just Be Good To Green'.
