British actor Sean Bean was stabbed outside a London pub over the weekend, according to reports.
The Game of Thrones star was enjoying a pint and a cigarette outside the Hill Bar and Brasserie in Camden with friend April Summers when the incident occured.
The Daily Mail reports that he was moved into action after a passer-by made lewd comments towards his companion.
The unnamed man is said to have returned to the pub later, where he punched the Lord of the Rings star in the face, and stabbed him with a shard of broken glass.
Declining the advice to go to hospital, Bean returned to the bar and finished his drink.
A witness told the newspaper: "Sean is a regular here and we’ve never had any problems before. He was with a very attractive woman and an incident occurred outside the bar.
"He came in with a cut on his arm and a bruise on his eyebrow. We saw to his injuries with the first aid kit. He seemed ok and wanted to have another drink."
Neither Bean nor Summers have chosen to comment on the incident.
