Gallows Cancel Upcoming Shows After Frank Carter Contracts Throat Infection

The Gallows have cancelled two upcoming shows in Norway after Frank Carter is diagnosed with a throat infection.

The frontman, who announced his forthcoming departure from the band earlier this week, will still appear with the Gallows at this weekend's Guilfest in Surrey (July 17).

A statement on The Gallows' Facebook site read: ''It is with great regret that due to illness Gallows have had to pull out of two appearances in Norway this weekend. The band will no longer be playing Sjottsfell Festival and Bukta Festival."

''Frank became ill yesterday and after seeking doctors' advice has been told not to play. The band are completely gutted about this as they love Norway and have been looking forward to these shows. As it stands Gallows will still play Guilfest on Sunday.''

Carter will continue performing with Gallows until the end of their current tour. He will play his last ever UK date with the band in London on July 23.

The singer has already formed a new band called Pure Love. The group will enter the studio shortly to begin work on their debut album before touring in the autumn.
