Lady Gaga's official website has been hacked, with thousands of fans' details stolen.

Known as SwagSec the hackers, who have previously targeted Justin Bieber and Amy Winehouse, declare themselves as a group whose main mission is to "take back the internet from the white devil".

The hackers attacked Lady Gaga's official website on June 27, accessing thousands of names and emails and plan to them pubic, reports the Daily Mirror.

In a statement record label Universal said: ''The hackers took a content database dump from www.ladygaga.co.uk and a section of email, first name and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords or financial information taken.''

"We take this very seriously and have put in place additional measures to protect personally identifiable information. All those affected have been advised."

Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga are among a long list of musicians who are signed to Universal Music Group.
