The odds for this year's Mercury Prize have been announced, with PJ Harvey and Adele joint 4/1 favourites to win.
Both female artists are among the twelve albums nominated for this year's prize.
Adele is in the running for her worldwide hit '21', Harvey is shortlised for her critically acclaimed album 'Let England Shake'.
Other nominees this year include past winners Elbow at 5/1 for 'Build A Rocket Boys!'. Tinie Tempah is also 5/1 while Anna Calvi and Katy B are both 6/1.
"This has been a year of musical excellence with these albums representing an eclectic range of styles from UK artists,” Rupert Adams of bookmakers William Hill said.
"This quality is reflected in the closeness of the odds we've given to the 2011 Mercury Prize Albums of the Year - every album here could be a winner."
The outsiders this year are Gwilym Simcock, Ghostpoet and King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, who are all 10/1.
The winner will be announced during a ceremony in London in September.
