More about: Noel Gallagher
Noel Gallagher has mocked Beady Eye's London 2012 closing ceremony performance, calling Liam Gallagher's band 'Stratford's finest Oasis tribute band'.
Playing a tiny gig at Camden's Dingwalls venue, Noel performed hits from his 2011 solo album as well as a host of Oasis classics.
Shortly before he played 'Wonderwall', Noel dedicated the song to "Stratford's finest Oasis tribute band", referencing the fact that Liam had played the same song inside the Olympic stadium on Sunday night with his Beady Eye bandmates.
Liam then famously spent the night partying with The Spice Girls, posting this pictoral proof for fans on Twitter.
Elsewhere at the War Child gig Noel gave a shout out to double Olympic champion Mo Farah.
Noel Gallagher's Dingwalls set 14/08/12 was as follows:
'(It's Good) To Be Free'
'Talk Tonight'
'If I Had A Gun'
'Supersonic'
'Wonderwall'
'Whatever'
'AKA... What A Life!'
'D'Yer Wanna Be a Spaceman?'
'Half The World Away'
'Angel Child'
'Don't Look Back In Anger'
