A young US rapper has died in a car crash after telling followers on Twitter that he was driving at 120mph while drunk.
Aspiring rapper Ervin McKinness died along with four others in the crash, which took place earlier this month on 2 September, 2012. He tweeted about driving while drunk just moments before the incident.
"Drunk af going 120 drifting corners #FuckIt YOLO," he tweeted in the minutes before his death. He also confessed to drinking while at the wheel, posting: "Driving tweeting sipping the cup fuck yolo I'm turning it up."
McKinness died after passing through a red light, lost control of his Nissan Sentra and hit a wall. He died at the scene. The passengers in the car have been named as Marquell Bogan, 23, and Dylan George, 20, both from Ontario, Jonathan Watson, 21, of San Bernardino and JaJuan Bennett, 23, reports the Huffington Post.
McKinness' sister has denied he was driving however, suggesting that it was Watson behind the wheel. The rapper had signed a record deal and released a video for his track 'Dreams' earlier this year.
