More about: Robbie Williams
Robbie Wiliams is on track to smash his own record with demand for tickets for his 2013 european tour steadily increasing.
The biggest ticketing marketplace in Europe, Viagogo, has reported that searches for tickets for the tour have tripled on a daily basis.
The same pattern was seen in 2011 when fans eagerly awaitd tickets for Take That's reunion shows. Viagogo spokesperson Ed Parkinson says: "'Take That Progress' was the most searched term on our site in 2011.
"From the demand we're seeing already, it's looking like Robbie Williams will take the crown in 2013."
Support act Olly Murs has also been credited with the high demand for tickets.
"Whilst support acts don't usually make an impact on demand for the main attraction, Olly Murs is bucking the trand and adding great value to Robbie's tour," Parkinson added.
"Olly was the tenth most in demand act on Viagogo this year and his fans are jumping at the chance to see him rise to the occassion of stadium tour."
This rapid rise in demand for tickets means teh Robbie is set to break his own Guinness World Record, set in 2006, for fastest sell-out tour.
But the ticket selling site has also warned that the high demand means fans must be extra vigilant when it comes to scams.
"We estimate that scam artists made around £4 million for the Take That tour last year.
"If you see a site offering Robbie tickets, don't judge it by its appearance alone: do you homework before you buy and never fork out unles it's 100% guaranteed."

Announcing the 15-date tour at a press conference earlier this week, Robbie said that he was challenging himself to top his Knebworth shows.
The singer attributed his new found vitality to the influence of his recently born daughter, Teddy, and the refreshing effect of joining Take That on tour last year.
