Morrissey has reportedly been dropped by his record label, just three weeks after the release of his latest album.
The rumours come after a post on the singer’s usual mouth-piece and preferred fansite True To You, which states that "Capitol Records/Harvest have ended their relationship with Morrissey, as directed by label boss Steve Barnett. Morrissey is once again in search of a record label.”
On the same fansite, where Morrissey regularly posts himself, the former Smiths frontman recently criticised Harvest Records, hinting that they didn’t understand the intent of his latest album World Peace Is None of Your Business.
In the post, Morrissey praised three fan-made videos, before stating "A similar document ought to have been harvested by the record label, but please understand that the pop or rock industry can be as dedicated to perpetuating public deception as the world of politics itself."

Morrissey has also been in the news this week after more controversial comments, telling Irish Publication Hot Press "It would be a great help if Princess Anne gassed Jamie Oliver”, whilst the singer recently cancelled another string of live dates due to illness.
We’re sure Morrissey will be making a statement on this reported label situation soon.
