Kate Bush will play her first gig in 35 years tonight (26 August), and excitement is hitting fever pitch for fans of the legendary singer.
Kicking off a lengthy run of 22 dates at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, this return will be Bush’s first live show since here 1979 performance in the same venue.
Tickets for the shows justifiably sold out in under 15 minutes, and unsurprisingly excitement is reaching new heights for fans heading to the opening night this evening.

Last week saw the singer make an unexpected statement about the shows, requesting fans refrain from filming any footage themselves.
"I very much want to have contact with you as an audience, not with iphones, ipads or cameras” read the statement.
“I know it's a lot to ask but it would allow us to all share in the experience together.”
