Hozier's self-titled debut is the highest new entry on this week's official album chart, entering the charts at No.5.
The solo singer/songwriter, who this weekend appeared on Saturday Night Live and also recently covered James Carr for Gigwise, entered the chart at No.5. The album features his inescapable single 'Take Me To Church', which kept climbing in the top 40 seven weeks after his release.
The singer is planning a smattering of live dates across the next four months, the first of which is at the Manchester Ritz on 12 November.
