Muse have announced that they've finished the first recording session for their new album.
At the start of October, the band confirmed that they'd begun work on their seventh album, the follow-up to their 2012 LP The 2nd Law.
After joining Instagram earlier this month, yesterday they posted a bird's eye view shot of the studio, with the caption: "End of first session. It's been emotional."
Bassist Chris Wolstenholme also tweeted late last night to say, "Its home time."

While the band are among the rumours for Glastonbury 2015, Muse have stated that they hope to have new material out by late next year - taking material in a 'rockier' direction, featuring a 'sequel' to Origin Of Symmetry's 'Citizen Erased' and dealing with 'deep ecology, empathy gaps and World War 3'.
