Enter Shikari have revealed ‘The Last Garrison’, the first track to be heard from their upcoming album ‘The Mindsweep’.
The track was recorded by the Hertfordshire rock quartet last spring in Lincolnshire, with producer Dan Weller, who has previously worked with the group.
Lead vocalist Rou Reynolds spoke about the track and said: “Life can often seem like a tumultuous onslaught of ups and downs; good and band; euphoric and arduous. Our circumstances can change in a flicker of an eyelid. Sometimes it’s beneficial to take a step back from everything and appreciate the honour that we’re still alive.”
The song shows a profound growth in the band’s sound: maintaining a brash sound and laden with infectious riffs, ‘The Last Garrison’ displays Enter Shikari at their most lyrically profound state yet.
