The Dalai Lama is set to make an appearance at this year's Glastonbury Festival.

Tenzin Gyatso, who is the current head monk of Tibetan Buddism, will be giving a morning talk on the final day of the festival.

The 79-year-old revealed the news on his website, which said, "His Holiness will give a talk at the Glastonbury Festival in the morning."

This year's Glastonbury Festival takes place between 24 and 29 June at Worthy Farm in Somerset.

Despite being sold out, so far the only act officially announced for the festival is Lionel Richie, who will take the Sunday legends slot.
