David Pajo has shared a picture of himself in hospital after attempting to take his own life on Thursday (12 February).
The former Slint guitarist has played with Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Tortoise, Stereolab and Zwan and has also released music under the names Pajo, Papa M, Aerial M, and M.
On Thursday it is believed he was rushed to a hospital in New Jersey after posting a suicide note addressed to his ex-wife online. It's thought fans raised the alarm and yesterday morning, he posted a photo on Instagram of himself recovering in a hospital bed giving an optimistic thumbs up sign.
A note on the guitarists personal Facebook page says: "There will be things said about our friend David in the press these coming days and he'll need our love and support. Feel free to comment here."
