Father John Misty has released a cover of Nirvana’s classic ‘Heart-Shaped Box’.
The former Fleet Foxes member performed the song during a session that he did for American radio station Sirius XMU and subsequently posted the performance on SoundCloud.

Earlier this week, Father John Misty’s record label Sub Pop (who coincidentally also released Bleach, Nirvana’s debut album) was forced to apologise. This was due to the fact that extra bonus feature’s added to his new album caused the vinyl record to warp.
The label posted on their website saying: “This oversight, and any attendant suffering, is our fault, and we are very sorry. We promise to be less ambitious in the future. We are currently making 100% non-warped, colored-vinyl LPs to replace these damaged LPs. We hope to have a delivery date for those soon, and we will update this page as soon as we have that information.”
Father John Misty will be touring the UK and Ireland later this month. For more information and tickets visit here.
