Brandon Flowers played an acoustic version of a brand new song, ‘The Way It’s Always Been’, to a handful of fans ahead of his New York show. Watch the footage below.
Ahead of his New York City Webster Hall show last night (24 March), Flowers played an impromptu one-song performance as a “’thank you’ to the fans that waited all day outside Webster Hall” to see him, and he premiered a song off of the new album, ‘The Way It’s Always Been’. One lucky fan who was there, Krystina Suarez, shared a video clip of the last-minute performance with Gigwise.

Suarez told Gigwise: “Brandon came out to do the song out of nowhere. It was pretty funny, actually. I was looking at my phone so I didn't even know he had walked out until the girl in front of me shouted his name! He thanked us all for coming out and waiting in the cold, and said that he was going to play a new song for us. It was really sweet and such a nice surprise.”
