The Maccabees have announced four upcoming shows in Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London - as well as unveiling new track 'Marks To Prove It'. Check it out below.
All being well, this should offer fans a chance to hear tracks from their hugely anticipated fourth album. The series of intimate UK shows, will take place between 11-14 May, with tickets on sale from 9am on 2 April. The dates are as follows:
11 May - The Institute, Birmingham
12 May - ABC, Glasgow
13 May - The Ritz, Manchester
14 May - Coronet, London
Starting with a jarring and deafening chord, first taster of the new album 'Marks To Prove It' starts as it means to go on - a fast and furious rock n' roller with a one hell of a swampy groove in between the sound of the band rapidly racing into the future. This album could see them take over.

The band recently confirmed that the new album is now complete. Speaking at the NME awards, drummer Sam Doyle explained: "It's recorded, we're about to finish mixing next week and it'll be out in a few months."
The band's guitarist and backing vocalist Felix White explained why its gestation has taken so long, saying: "It just had to be good enough. We thought it was going to be finished a year ago, but it just weren't quite there and now I think it's magic, so it's done." Of the album as a whole, White had to say: "It's opposite to Give To The Wild in every kind of way... I think the songs are a lot better".
