Ed Sheeran had promised 'arena sized acts' for his huge Wembley Stadium shows and has revealed who wil be joining him on stage in July.
The first act to ever headline Wembley Stadium completely solo and unaccompanied, Sheeran has enlisted an impressive lineup for the shows. These include an impressively wide mixture of genres ranging from sensitive folk (Passenger and Foy Vance), chart topping stadium rock (Onerepublic) and dance festival party starters (Rudimental, Example).
Sheeran had said previously of the support bil. "I actually sorted the support acts before I'd even put (the tickets) on sale," he said. "I never want to play to someone else's crowd, I want my crowd to feel like they have a treat - I'm saying 'here's a wicked support act that you can watch, that you didn't know was going to be there'. It's more of a surprise." Sheeran added: "I've got three acts every day, and they're all multi-platinum... They're all great, they're all really, really good. Some of them have played Wembley before. Most of them are arena [level]."
