U2 fans got a nice/nasty surprise on Record Store Day when they discovered that their sealed Songs Of Innocence vinyl had a Tool EP inside.
It's not entirely clear how many times this mistake was made, but it was first brought to the world's attention when a dissatisfied customer posted this on Twitter.
@RSDUK seems there's a couple of #U2 #RSD15 misprints about - some have a Tool EP inside! pic.twitter.com/wKFFFuR9W6

The vinyl was supposed to be U2's 2014 album Songs Of Innocence, released as part of this year's Record Store Day, which took place on Saturday (18 April). Inside the sleeve, though, was Tool's 1992 Opiate EP.
I can see why U2 fans feel shortchanged getting a Tool EP instead of their U2 album. They normally get four tools for the price of one .

On the bright side, given that the song was uploaded onto everyone's iTunes last year, fans can always listen to it the 21st century way instead.
