Download Festival 2013: the most annoying clashes

The bands you want to see but they're on at the same time - make your choice wisely

Jimmy Eat World vs Queens of the Stone Age: Argh! Both bands have just released two of the finest rock albums of 2013 and make for pretty incredible rock bands. You might be able to catch a few songs from JEW on the Zippo Encore stage, but not if you want to watch Josh Homme and co in full. DAMN YOU GODS OF ROCK.

Limp Bizkit vs Rammstein: You've got a tough choice here between Fred Durst and co's nu-metal classics or the fire, the fury and the insanity of Germany's finest industrial metal exports Rammstein. Sunday, bloody Sunday!

Papa Roach vs Dragonforce: CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES, I CAN'T MAKE MY MIND UP.

HIM vs Slipknot: You'd be pretty daft to miss out on Slipknot returning to their spiritual home for what promises to be one of the greatest metal shows of the year, but if that's not quite your thing then Finnish teen favourites HIM are on at the same time.

KoRn vs We Are The Ocean: Man, here's tough one. The daddies of genre-bending funk-metal or the hottest rising poppy post-hardcore outfit on the scene?

Iron Maiden vs The Hives: Two completely different sides of the coin here - an all-out celebration of metal from the Godfathers of hard rock or some garage rock pogo-ing from Sweden's finest? You won't be able to have the best of both worlds, sadly.

30 Seconds To Mars vs POD: Jared Leto will be bringing the stadium anthemics of their latest album Love Lust Faith + Dreams to the hallowed fields of Donington this weekend. Sadly, it clashes with the youthful nu-metal of POD that made life so much fun back in 2001.
