A hit-filled and humble set from the US band

Yesterday (15 August) was the first day of Green Man Festival 2014, and saw the brilliant Beirut take to the Brecon Beacons stage.
With rain battering the festival as revellers camped on Thursday (14 August), the weather managed to hold throughout the first day of music, bathing the Welsh Valley in occasional bursts of sunshine.
Effortlessly filling the headline slot on The Mountain Stage, Beirut delivered a hit-filled set to a huge, receptive audience, with frontman Zach Condon seeming genuinely humbled by the eruptive crowd reaction. Check out the best photos from their set here.
