Madonna has become the latest musician to wade in with her two cents on Kim Kardashian's (in)famous Paper Magazine cover, using it to highlight society's double standards when it comes to female nudity.
Kardashian posed naked for the cover last month, exposing her bare behind in a bid to "break the internet" - a move that has gained arguably far more attention than it warrants.
A little late to the party, Madonna has posted a photo of herself topless with a "censored" sign covering her, with the caption: "It's confusing. Nipples are considered forbidden and provocative but exposing your ass is not. #flummoxed."

Lorde also recently gained media attention with her reaction to the photoshoot. She posted the picture to her Facebook page alongside the caption, "MOM" - a statement that was misconstrued as criticising Kardashian's decision, as a mother, to pose naked.
She later clarified the caption, writing on her Tumblr page: "'Mom' among the youthz is a compliment; it basically jokingly means 'adopt me / be my second mom/ I think of you as a mother figure you are so epic'."
