13. 'Get Right': Turner contributes bass guitar rather than vocals to this one, but he also co-wrote it. Its riff sounds like a scuzzy rock version of Bob Marley's 'Get Up, Stand Up', and it was recorded over just two days. It's nowhere near as good as the A-side 'Don't Forget Who You Are' though.

6 January 2015: Today is Alex Turner's 29th birthday. That's right - Turner has five albums under his belt with one of the most successful bands in the world, and he's still not reached 30 yet.
As if that wasn't achievement enough though, Turner has also turned his hand to incredible soundtracks, side projects and collaborations. Given that very often the success of Arctic Monkeys overshadows Turner's other work (not, admittedly, the worst predicament in the world), we've decided to shine a light on his greatest, non-Arctic Monkeys, songs.
