Noel Gallagher's impressive second album with High Flying Birds, Chasing Yesterday is now streaming online.
Available now to stream on iTunes, Chasing Yesterday doesn't see Gallagher stray too far from his Oasis roots - despite the apparent influence of a memory stick worth of house music from friend and label boss Mike Pickering, as well as a controversial deployment of sax solos on 'Riverman'. Led by the Johnny Marr-assisted 'Ballad Of The Mighty I', 'The Girl With X Ray Eyes' and 'You Know We Can't Go Back' this is a collection of tracks that is going to sound stunning in any rain soaked field this summer.
Having during his press campaign complained about Beyonce, turned down the chance to produce the Libertines, complaining about Ocado, saying he would rather 'drink petrol' than read an Alex Turner interview, disagreeing with Bono about free music, declared the Brit Awards 'rigged', hating on Ed Sheeran and Bastille and said he will reform Oasis for a half a billion.
Despite recently announcing "It doesn't look like I'm playing Glastonbury" Gallagher is still among the rumoured acts to top the bill at the festival this year. He has announced however that he is is headlining London's Calling Festival as well as appearing at T In The Park.
